Portrait photographer and creative, Abigail Zoe Martin has been taking photographs since she was first handed a vintage camera by her father in her teens. Her passion for photography grew when she studied at Miami University for a year in the 90s. Inspired by her environment she decided photography was to be her chosen profession. After University she assisted art directors and photographers. Her first exhibition "I Must Dance!" in 2002, was shown at The Coningsby Gallery, London, W1. This launched her career and was covered in Tatler and Time Out as well as on the Radio.
Her portraits have been published in Red, Tatler, Easy Living, Psychologies and The Times amongst many others. In 2013 Abigail's images of BBC Radio 4 Presenters were exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery and are now part of their permanent collection. In 2015 she moved to Chicago via Madrid, with her husband Leonardo and their two children. This move inspired her recent project, an audio/visual exhibition entitled "Chicago Lights", which was shown at the Zhou B Art Center and is now a coffee table book. https://bookstore.weeva.com/products/chicago-lights
