In 2002 Abigail staged her first major exhibition, "I Must Dance" which was shown at The Coningsby Gallery, London W1 and also at Leo Burnett Advertising Agency. Abigail followed different dancers and dance groups for a year asking the question "why do you dance?" The dance styles included ballet, ceroc, Armenian, tea, modern and pole dancing. For Abigail the tea dancing was a particular inspiration - she was asked to dance by a glittery eyed octogenarian whilst Dorrin the 82 year old DJ played the decks!
